This company was founded in 1999 under the name of doubleBW Systems BV and is a spin-off of world renowned research institutes TNO as well as Delft University of Technology. The core product of doubleBW Systems BV was the flexible PowerFFT? chip, which is today still the world's fastest FFT-centric floating-point DSP, with unparalleled precision and ultra-low power consumption.
In 2003 doubleBW Systems BV acquired the assets of Eonic Systems GmbH and changed its name to Eonic BV.
Eonic has since its merger become an innovative supplier of reconfigurable solutions to the Defense and Security industry, providing real-time digitizing and signal processing platforms, utilizing advanced commercial off-the-shelf ASIC, FPGA and DSP technology. We have supplied SAR, SDR, ESM and Radar-storage systems to Defense and Security organizations in Europe, North America and Asia. We continue to improve our real-time processing systems, making them more powerful, smaller and increasingly power-economic.
